| What's New in Version 5 |
New Firearms Database. Keep track of all your firearm information such as make, model, caliber, scope, serial no., barrel length, and purchase price in one convenient database. Select a cartridge from the database to go along with the rifle.
When developing loads, you'll have quick access to the rifle database to perform reload calculations, eliminating the need to re-enter data. If you've coupled your rifle record with a cartridge in the database, both the case and rifle data are pulled into the load calculation automatically.
New Ammunition Section. Transfer your hand-load results to the ammunition section and store addition information about the load you've developed. You can also print an ammo box label.
The new Field Results tab in the Ammo Section allows you to enter actual field data in a log for comparison or reference. Includes the ability to print a full-sized page of the field log.
Ballistic Coefficient correction is available inside the trajectory calculation by entering the actual field conditions. No need to perform a separate BC correction calculation when performing trajectory calcs.
New File Management system makes it easier to store, find and maintain records.
Updated bullet database of over 2000 bullets including weight, length and BCs.
Updated cartridge database includes 1200 cases.
The rifle load section supports several new powder lines.
