Load From A Disk
for Windows version 3.0 Released For Shipment.
W. Square Enterprises has
released the much anticipated Version 3.0 of Load From A Disk for Windows.
The software performs both internal and external ballistics calculations
along with a host of calculation tools and a database of nearly 2000
bullets. With loads of new features and improved performance this is
considered a significant upgrade. Here is a list of new features.
- Metric Units! After
many requests from our international users, we've included the option
to perform all calculations in metric units.
- Fully updated cartridge
load screen including graphical load results. Plot muzzle velocity
or chamber pressure vs. load density or charge weight.
- Chamber pressure is
shown in crusher units of pressure as well as psia.
- Trajectory table lists
a zero adjustment in minutes of angle (MOA).
- Click Charts. You may
now produce a click chart for a given trajectory that will show what
scope adjustment (clicks) to make for a zero adjustment.
- Search the bullet database
by manufacturer, bullet caliber, and now bullet weight.
- New and updated bullet
database.
- New and updated cartridge
database. Now includes some popular wildcats.
- New and updated powders.
Something no other ballistics
software can boast of is Load From A Disk's ability to perform internal
ballistic calculations. Given bullet and case information the software
can determine the best powders and how much to use in order to develop
an optimum cartridge load. This is a program that serious reloaders
can fall in love with.
W. Square's founder, Wayne
Blackwell, has been developing ballistics software for over 15 years.
Intelligration Systems Group of Houston, Texas was again instrumental
in programming the software application. This latest Windows version
is another furthering of their ballistics technology.
